Delivery, returns & warranty

Every plate is road-legal, made to BS AU 145e and manufactured only after your documents are verified. Here’s exactly how dispatch, returns and the warranty work.

Delivery

  • Same-day dispatch — documents received and verified by 2pm, Mon–Sat. Documents received and verified before 2pm, Mon–Sat excluding bank holidays → made and dispatched the same working day. Tracked delivery, UK mainland only. Documents that reach us after the cut-off, on a Sunday or on a UK bank holiday start the clock on the next working day, and if our check runs past 2pm dispatch moves to the next working day too.
  • Dispatched after verification. We only manufacture once your entitlement and identity documents have been checked and approved.
  • Tracked delivery. Orders are sent Royal Mail Tracked 48 and usually arrive within 2–3 working days. Need it sooner? Choose Royal Mail Tracked 24 in the builder for £6.99 — aimed at the next working day after dispatch.
  • UK mainland only. We currently ship to UK mainland addresses only — no international shipping.

Your right to cancel

For most goods bought online you have 14 days to cancel for any reason under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, starting the day after you receive them.

Because every plate is manufactured to your exact registration and can’t be re-sold to anyone else, it is exempt from that 14-day change-of-mind right under regulation 28(1)(b) once we begin production. So you don’t have an automatic right to cancel simply because you’ve changed your mind after we’ve started making it.

To keep this fair: before we start making your plate you can still cancel or change your order — just contact us as soon as possible and, if we haven’t begun production, we’ll cancel and refund you in full.

This exemption applies only to the change-of-mind right. It does not affect your legal rights if your plate arrives faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise not as agreed — see your statutory rights below.

Your statutory rights (faulty or incorrect plates)

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 the plates we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Within 30 days of delivery you can reject a faulty plate for a full refund; after that you can ask for a repair or replacement, and a price reduction or refund if that doesn’t resolve it. These rights are in addition to everything else here and can’t be taken away.

If your plates arrive with a manufacturing defect or quality issue, or are made to a different specification than the one you provided, get in touch within 30 days of delivery with a clear photo and your order number — we’ll arrange a full refund or a free remake. If a fault appears later, our 12-month manufacturing warranty (below) still covers it.

12-month warranty

Covers manufacturing defects — such as delamination, character peeling or reflective-sheet failure — under normal use.

Does not cover impact damage, fitting errors, drilling damage, harsh chemicals, misuse, or general wear and tear. See our fitting guide before drilling or mounting.
